Accessibility statement
This site is built to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, or voice control. That is a design requirement here, not a later audit.
The standard we build to
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In practice that means text contrast is measured rather than eyeballed, every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard with a visible focus outline, touch targets are at least 44 pixels, the site works at 200% zoom and down to a 320-pixel-wide screen, and nothing depends on colour alone to make sense.
Some things go beyond the minimum on purpose. Buttons and form fields are 48 pixels tall rather than 44. Answers in the FAQ sit open on the page instead of hidden behind a click. Text is never placed on top of a photograph, because contrast against an image cannot be measured reliably.
Ask, and Lucy will get you the information another way.
If any part of this site is hard to use, or you need a document, disclosure or loan estimate in a different format — large print, plain text, read aloud over the phone, or simply talked through — say so and it will be arranged. There is no form to fill in and no reason to explain why.
Where we know we fall short
Two parts of the experience are outside our control, and it is more useful to say so than to imply otherwise. The online application is hosted by EDGE Home Finance, and its accessibility is theirs rather than ours — if it gives you trouble, call and Lucy will take your application by phone instead. Links out to Google, Zillow and Facebook lead to sites we do not build.
If you find a problem on a page we do control, telling us is genuinely helpful. We will confirm we received it and tell you what we are doing about it.
Assessment and date
This statement was prepared in August 2026 and reflects a self-assessment: manual keyboard-only testing, screen-reader testing, contrast measurement of every text and interface colour pair, and layout testing from 320 pixels upward. It has not been audited by an independent third party. It will be updated when the site changes materially.
